Description | Renovation of Stucco/DIVT Facade of Small Commercial Building This is a Federally-Funded (Community Development Block Grant) Project and is subject to all applicable Federal rules, regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to payment of Prevailing Wage MBE and WBE contractors are encouraged to bid on this project Your work must be based upon the Work Description as provided, exclusively. Specifications to be included for all equipment. If you have any questions, please contact: Ed Redd at (708) 719-6701 General notes for Oak Park CDBG Project B22-32 o Contractor to be licensed and bonded as required by the Village of Oak Park o Building permits required for all work. Successful payout only after proof of inspections passed is presented and evidence of permit close-out is available. o Work must be completed within 15 days of contract execution. o Prevailing wages to apply-see enclosed Wage Decision IL-9 IL20230009 01/20/2023, wage decision will be checked and if applicable updated at the time of contract signing. o If applicable, Weekly payroll submission is required, payroll must be consecutive from start to finish and is required during off weeks as well. o Working hours on the premises must be in conjunction with Village of Oak Park ordinance. o Staff, Visitor, and Pedestrian utilizing sidewalk and main entrance should be taken into consideration, special care and caution should be taken when working, tools and material should be stored appropriately after work hours. o All areas to be left in broom-swept condition at the end of each workday. o Job sites will be inspected during the course of the projects. o Material specifications and warranties to be provided to the owner. 218 Lake St, Oak Park Facade renovation Remove existing damaged plaster - stucco and decorative trim. Repair all existing cracks and wall damage. Apply waterproof foundation with new stucco coat (grey) and decorative trim(black), same design like existing with new color scheme. Remove old and install new black metal flashing and coping. Paint window frames and door block |
