Description

Phase 1 - Installation of a modular block wall. The wall will be approximately 562’ long x 4’ high above grade with a foundation extending approximately 3.5’ below grade. The retaining wall will have (2) sets of stairs extending down to concrete landings at the bottom of each stair run. A rip rap stone base will be installed along the reservoir side of the wall to armor against wave action as water levels fluctuate. There will also be grading and drainage infrastructure installation required. It is important to note reservoir water levels are low enough to allow construction during the next 2-3 months but can and do fluctuate based on Cache La Poudre Reservoir Company needs. Phase 2 – Landscape and Trail Improvements Additional reservoir improvements will be added concurrently or after wall completion to include a new gravel parking lot, connecting sidewalks and trail, shade structures, prefabricated restrooms, play area, sand volley ball/beach area, landscaping and irrigation.
