Plans call for the construction of a gas station/convenience store. The project site is located on 32nd & Airport Road. Direct all bids/inquiries to the GC bidders. As of 2-15-2024, general contractor award information has yet to be announced. The owner wishes no contact. Q&A document - Sheet GC2 shows the trellis metal columns and framing to be painted "Enduring Bronze". Sheet GC3 shows the metal to be galvanized. Please advise which metal finish is required for the trellis. Answer: The steel being used to construct the trellis is galvanized steel which is being built by FMS. The steel is to be painted by the GC using "Enduring Bronze" The GC3 sheet is the structural sheet and doesn't call out finishes. The GC2 sheet has the finishes so that might be the confusion here. To summarize, the galvanized steel is to be painted "Enduring Bronze".
