Description | Notice is hereby given that the Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa ROP (CRY-ROP) will receive sealed proposals up to, but not later than the time fixed above, for a Contractor(s) to provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, necessary equipment, transportation, and any other items needed to provide general construction services at sites located within San Bernardino County. The RFP shall remain open, valid and subject to acceptance anytime within ninety (90) days after the RFP opening date and time unless otherwise stipulated. Contractors are advised that this contract is a public work for purposes of the California Labor Code, which requires payment of prevailing wages. A Performance Bond will be required to be maintained during the life of the contract at the level of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. CRY-ROP reserves the right to request a Labor and Materials Payment Bond of the successful Contractor(s). This RFP is subject to the provisions of Education Code Section 45125.1 and 45122.1. Contractors employees are required to submit fingerprints to the Department of Justice where an employee may come into contact with students at any site. The Department of Justice will ascertain whether the employee has a pending criminal proceeding for a violent or serious felony or has been convicted of a violent or serious felony as they are defined in Penal Code Sections 667.5c) and 1192.7c), respectively. Each Contractor shall possess at the time of bid a current contractor s license, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300 and Business and Professions Code Section 7028-15, for the applicable work proposed to be furnished. The successful Contractor(s) must maintain the license throughout the duration of this contract.
