| Description | The work associated with this project involves the Franklin Falls Gatehouse (approximately 122’ x 30.5’). The gatehouse operating floor sits approximately 60’ above the toe of the dam, and the inside structure height is 37-feet. Fourteen (14) original gatehouse windows shall be replaced in-kind. Windows vary in size, but approximate dimensions include: 60” x 166”, 60”x 216”, and 39” x 100”. Access to the gatehouse is available via the service bridge (180’ x 12.5’). In addition to replacing the windows, the project shall also require the handling & disposal of lead paint during demolition and abatement of asbestos containing materials (existing window caulking and window glaze). |
