Description

A. Routine Maintenance 1. Routine maintenance includes removing trash, weeding, clearing the curb opening to the bioretention areas, clearing debris and vegetation from the outfall overflow structure, removing plants that are not alive, and pruning plants that are overgrown. Routine maintenance does not include replacing trees, plants or media. Replacing tree, plants or media will be paid at the actual costs of the plants and shall not be performed without written direction from the City. 2. In addition to the City properties specified below and attached to this solicitation document, the City may request routine maintenance of additional BMPs on City properties not specified herein. 3. The Vendor is responsible for disposal of all materials removed during maintenance at no additional cost to the City. 4. Weekly Routine Maintenance of: a. Bioretention areas and landscape islands along Main Street between Route 13 and Mill Street and along N. Division Street between Main Street and Route 50. b. Porous pavers along Main Street between Route 13 and Mill Street and along N. Division Street between Main Street and Route 50. 5. Bi-Annual (twice per year) Routine Maintenance of: a. Water quality inlets along Waverly Drive, on Circle Avenue and on Cypress Street. b. The living shoreline on Market Street adjacent to City Parking Lot 12
