Security Alarm System Upgrade and Installaiton

Contractor to perform replacement of an existing intrusion security system for the Park Visitor Center at the Navajo National Monument (NAVA). The existing security system has been in place for approximately 15 years and continues to fail causing nuisance activations. The systems exceeded its design life and/or lack coverage or features required by NAVA. The Visitor Center is located near US Highway 564, Shonto, AZ 86054. A. The intended result of this SOW is for the design and installation of replacement security/intrusion detection systems in the Visitor Center in NAVA. B. Includes the demolition and appropriate disposal of existing systems C. Existing security system has been in place for approximately 15 years and continues to fail causing nuisance activations. The systems exceeded its design life and/or lack coverage or features required by NAVA. D. The Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary work to achieve required project outcomes, including labor, equipment, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), coordination with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), internal construction permits, incidental design, travel, and other related expenses. E. In accordance with this SOW and the Task Order, the Contractor shall provide all required site-specific information in the execution proposal. F. National Park Service Park Superintendent is the AHJ for this project. Contact information will be provided at time of award. G. The system shall be designed and installed to meet the manufactures requirements and associated current codes. NFPA 70, National Electric Code (NEC) Manufactures installation requirements
