Filbert Avenue and Los Robles Court Water Main Replacement

1. Project One generally consists of the removal of the existing 6” water main and the installation of new 6” ductile iron water main on Filbert Avenue between Opal Avenue and Butter Lane and then along Butter Lane to Emerald Avenue in Lower Alsace Township as shown on the Contract Drawings. The Project also consists of, but is not limited to, temporary water services, connecting the new water main to the existing water main at each end of the work area, reinstatement of water services, installation of a fire hydrant, soil erosion and sedimentation control, as required, traffic control, bituminous paving trench restoration, mill and overlay pavement, and restoration of all other areas disturbed by this construction project. 2. Project Two generally consists of the removal of the existing 2” and 1” water mains and the installation of new 4” ductile iron water main on Los Robles Court as shown on the Contract Drawings. The Project also consists of, but is not limited to, temporary water services, connecting the new water main to the existing water main, reinstatement of water services, installation of a blow-off hydrant, soil erosion and sedimentation control, as required, traffic control, bituminous paving trench restoration, and restoration of all other areas disturbed by this construction project.
