Sanitary Sewer (Gravity), Sitework/Excavating and Grading, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Aggregate, Stormwater Improvements, Waterlines, Asphalt Overlay, Rehab. and/or Maint. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through for bids to be accepted. The work includes furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, per the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD) The project is located on Clifford Street between Egan Street and South Street and on Pony Lane from Riverbend Drive to the cul-de-sac. A brief description of the major work items for the above contract includes: 3,400 cubic yards of common excavation, 4,600 tons of crushed aggregate base course, 1,575 linear feet of PVC watermain, 594 linear feet of 1-inch water service, 1 lump sum temporary water main and services, 1,275 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 6 sanitary sewer structures, 1,660 linear feet of storm sewer, 31 storm sewer structures, 2,500 linear feet of curb and gutter, 4,250 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 1,610 tons of HMA pavement. Bidders Qualification Statement is required and shall be submitted directly to the City of Plymouth per Instructions to Bidders As a part of their Bids, Bidders shall submit a full and complete list of: 1) all of the proposed Subcontractors, and 2) the class of work which each will perform. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the City. The City will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Plymouth, in the amount not less than five percent (5%) nor more than ten percent (10%) of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the City accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the City. Failure to return these documents within this prescribed time will result in forfeiture, to the City of Plymouth, of the selected Contractor's Bid Bond, as liquidated damages.
