Battery Energy Storage System Installation and Integration with Solar PV System

Bayfield County Wisconsin is accepting proposals for Battery Energy Storage System Installation and Integration with Solar Photovoltaic System, Natural Gas Generator Integration, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Installation, and Controls. This projected funded by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, Office of Energy Innovation and the Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), under the State Energy Program Award Number DE-EE0000163. Installing the 60 kW / 100 kWh BESS. This system will comprise two 30 kW SolArk inverters, model 30k-3p-208, along with 4 battery storage stacks of ~24 kWh each at the Bayfield County Main Highway garage in Washburn in the electrical room, aka "Old Boiler Room" (see engineering plan). Integrating the BESS with the existing solar PV and generator to form a microgrid when disconnected from the grid using the existing Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The BESS and inverters are being procured and paid by the County. . Procure and install one 80A JuiceBox EVSE unit and install one Ford Pro Charger EVSE (procured by the county) on the garage existing service. . Installing all needed balance of system components including communications and non-utility metering
