Chain of Rocks Park Mississippi Greenway

The Great Rivers Greenway District (District), the Developer, is soliciting sealed bids for Mississippi Greenway: Chain of Rocks Park (108A) in the City of Saint Louis, Missouri and hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award. Federal Land and Water Conservation Funds are being used in this project, and all relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. This project will improve the approximately 8-acre of District owned property at the west landing of the Historic Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis, Missouri including a site clearing, demolition, grading and drainage, utilities (water, storm sewer and electric), bicycle/pedestrian trail paving, vehicular entry drive, permeable parking lot, welcome booth, walls, fencing, gates, site lighting, security systems (access control, video, blue light phones), signing, site furnishings, seeding/sodding, landscape treatments, traffic control and related work.
