Improvements to the Town Dock

The Town of Rangeley (hereinafter the Town) requests sealed written proposals for improvements to the Town Dock located at the end of Lake Street. The dock is a wood-framed composet-deck stationary dock with a crib and boulder substructure. The dock is used for swimming and is referred to locally as the "Swim Dock" as well as the "Town Dock." The intent of this request is to assist the Town in determining the best path forward for this structure. The RFP will ask for pricing for different options - proposers are free to provide a proposal for one or more of the options listed below. General Specifications Provide a cost proposal to remove and dispose of the existing dock including all underwater cribbing; Provide a cost proposal to remove and deisose of the exiting dock including all inferior underwater cribbing and rebuild a dock of the same construction and dimensions as existing. Submissions must contain: A cover letter including company profile, history, size, and area of specialty; A list of most recent work completed with a short description of specific projects and timeframe; Names and contact information of at least three references; Any available drawings or sketches or proposed work and/or material sheets The Town of Rangeley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
