Description

Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction project to construct a concrete floor in Building 9 (Railroad Track Pit) that runs from the North to the South along the east side of the interior of the building. This new concrete floor will be needed to support 14 new inventory storage units. The Railroad Track Pit area measures approximately 460 feet long by 15 feet wide and 41 to 44 inches high. The concrete floor thickness must be able to support the load of each of the 14 VSUs weighing approximately 20,000 pounds each when filled with material. Additionally, guide rails will be installed along the edge of the dock.
