Description

Last Day for Questions: 08/19/2022 @ 12:00 p.m. Source, furnish and deliver two (2) Goulds 12FDHC, 3 stage, 2,250 gpm at 106 feet TDH pump with 75hp Hitachi 460 volt submersible motor and associated power cable (or equivalent). The pump shall fit in a nominal 12" diameter hole, supported by 10" diameter steel pipe column. Design and construction of the pump, motor and power cable shall be in accordance with the latest ANSI, Hydraulic Institute and NEMA Standards. The pipe column is 55.4 feet long and the bottom of the motor is nominally 65.4 feet below the surface plate. The pump, motor and power cable shall be ready for installation and include cost of delivery and unloading to 500 Mack Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801 freight on board destination, pre paid and allowed. Unless otherwise specified, the Contract will be awarded to the lowest most RESPONSIBLE and RESPONSIVE Vendor complying with the provisions of the Bid Documents, provided the price is reasonable and does not exceed the funds available, and is in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid Document from any Vendor who has previously failed to perform properly in any way or complete on time contracts of a similar nature; or a Bid Document from a Vendor who, investigation shows, is not in a position to perform the Contract; or a Bid Document from any person, firm, or corporation which is in arrears or in default to the City for any debt or contract.
