Provide and Install Storage Building for Emergency Services Training Facility

Project has been cancelled. No plans to rebid at this time. Furnish all labor and materials necessary to provide an unheated storage building on a site which will be prepped by the Sullivan County Division of Public Works, at the Sullivan County Emergency Services Training Facility and Emergency Operations Center. The County has miscellaneous firefighting and safety apparatus/equipment pieces, including a fire truck, which are best stored inside. Sullivan County will install electric for door openers, lighting, and receptacles after the building erection is complete. This project is funded via Dormitory Authority of State of New York (DASNY) / State and Municipal Facilities Capital Program (SAM) grant award which will expire at the end of 2024. Minimum Recommended Building Details: (provide specific details on proposal) o 60' wide x 80' long x 16'6" high o Poured in place concrete floor (expansion joints, fiber mesh, 3500psi, top sealer) o Wood structure (poles, girts, purlins, diagonal bracing, trusses, etc.) o Metal siding o Metal roof w/ snow jacks and condensation barrier; 4/12 pitch o Ridge vent o 4 - 14' x 14' Commercial overhead doors - Placement: Eave o 2 - 3'0" x 6'8" outswing fiberglass doors w/ panic hardware and auto closure - Placement: Gables o 1' Eave and Gable overhangs o Sealed Engineered Construction Drawings in accordance with 2020 Building Code of NYS o Building Warranty 50 years for treated wood components; 40 years for metal siding androof; Manufacturer's standard warranty for miscellaneous building components o 1-year Workmanship Guarantee w/ 5 year guarantee for roof leaks o Color to be determined after award of contract; selected from provided color samples
