Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Osceola, Iowa. Completed plans call for the addition of a 39,429-square-foot medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a 5,368-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility. The Clarke County Hospital includes Addition and Renovation of 5,368 SF of pre-op and post-op surgery space, expansion of a new kitchen and dining with conference rooms of 5,446 SF, addition of a 2 nd floor patient outdoor deck of approximately 846 SF and materials management expansion of 1,700 SF. Also included is a new 31,437 SF employee parking area and ambulance drop off. Also includes exterior addition of Vestibule and Entrance Canopy at Respiratory Clinic Build-Out and associated site work.A report of the bids, with a recommendation, will be presented to the Hospital at the May 25, 2022 Public Hearing and Board Meeting. Bid Security shall be in the amount of 5% of the bid amount and in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a solvent Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a bid bond in the form prescribed in the specifications, executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in Iowa.A report of the bids, with a recommendation, will be presented to the Hospital at the May 25, 2022 Public Hearing and Board Meeting. Bids will be required to be submitted for a condition of irrevocability for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the bid opening. Bid Alternates shall remain valid for the duration stated on the bid form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
