RFQ Construction Manager At Risk - Construct University Fieldhouse Building

The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) will design and construct a new 79,000 square foot, one story Fieldhouse Facility to be located between Mackay Stadium and Wolf Pack Park. Building functions and amenities include a lobby, front desk, facilities management office, multi-use rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, storage, 200-meter running track, four multi-sport playing courts, convertible turf system, and building support spaces . The project is expected to be designed and constructed for occupancy by April 2025. The selected CMAR contractor will be placed under contract to provide pre-construction services and to provide the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) submittal. The submission of the GMP effectively concludes the initial contract requirements. Should UNR accept the GMP, it may enter into a contract with the selected CMAR contractor to complete the construction project. This is at the sole discretion of UNR. The work required of a CMAR contractor may include such services as (but not limited to): assistance in developing the full construction scope, providing constructability reviews, scheduling, value analysis, systems analysis, progress document reviews, construction logistical planning and staging, subcontractor involvement and prequalification, subcontractor bonding policy, budgeting and pricing, workmanship, and construction coordination.
