Description | This Project consists of the construction of (2) low water crossings and 3-4 post assisted log structures (PALS). The low water crossings have (2) corrugated 36 diameter pipes in the upstream crossing and (2) corrugated 48 pipes in the lower crossings. Both crossings will have riprap before and after the crossing's length and widths as shown on the construction drawings. Concrete pads are also to be provided as shown on the construction drawings. The principal items of work are as follows: The existing culverts shall be removed, pipe alignment will be cleared and grubbed with the unacceptable material being properly disposed of offsite. The new pipe alignment will be excavated to sub-grade with any excess material will either be used on-site or be properly disposed of offsite, the sub-grade will be graded and shaped to proper profile per the plans and then compacted, any soft sub-grade areas will be stabilized, then additional Granular Borrow Material will be imported and placed and will then be properly compacted to line and grade as select borrow embankment material. Proposed culverts shall be properly placed and structural fill shall be placed in lifts around the proposed culverts Also included is new signage or relocated signage. Some relocation or adjustment to any utility boxes to new finish grade are also included along with fencing removal and installation of new field fencing per County Standard. The project is to be completed within 90 calendar day The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bidder shall have any right, legal or equitable, or claims against the County for any expenses or costs incurred by him in the preparation or submission of his bid, which is rejected, regardless of the reason of rejection. |
