This work includes modifying the existing fire alarm and mass notification system to achieve the following: a. To incorporate the signals from the trailer's new automatic fire sprinklers connection supervisory devices (tamper and flow switches). The signal from the flow switch must be programmed to cut the power to the trailer. b. To provide visual and audible alarms inside the trailer. This alarms operation must be trigered upon activation of the building's fire protection system as a mean to notify occupants. Include in the system wiring, raceways, pull boxes, terminal cabinets, outlet and mounting boxes, control equipment, alarm, and supervisory signal initiating devices, alarm notification appliances, supervising station fire alarm system transmitter, and other accessories and miscellaneous items required for a complete operating system even though each item is not specifically mentioned or described. Provide system complete and ready for operation. Provide equipment, materials, installation, workmanship, inspection, and testing in strict accordance with the required provisions of NFPA 72, ISO 7240-16, IEC 60268-16. c. Each remote fire alarm control unit shall be powered from a wiring riser specifically for that use or from a local emergency power panel located on the same floor as the remote fire alarm control unit. Where remote fire control units are provided, equipment for notification appliances may be located in the remote fire alarm control units.
