Pavement Rehabilitation and Miscellaneous Work from MP 393.70 to MP 404.70 E/W

Mainline Pavement Repairs, Resurfacing and Striping Milepost 393.7 to 404.70 E/W 11 Miles Plus Advance Signing Pavement Resurfacing and Striping Interchange 48A (M.P. 401.72) 1. Provide work zone traffic control. 2. Perform full depth pavement repairs where identified in the plans. 3. Cold mill existing 4” to 6” of asphalt pavement on mainline and shoulder to original concrete pavement (where it exists). Cold mill 2” of asphalt pavement on U-turns and Exit 48A ramps and shoulders. 4. Perform pavement restoration and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt from MP 393.7 to MP 404.7 Eastbound (EB) & Westbound (WB), and at various depths and limits, as shown in the plans. 5. Replace inductance loops at MP 397.8 EB. 6. Perform wearing surface replacement of existing 1½” asphalt bridge deck wearing surface layer at BIN 1001679 – MP 402.68. 7. Perform full and partial depth repairs to exposed top slab of the bridge culvert at MP 401.28. Install waterproof membrane over entire top slab. 8. Perform deck repairs on concrete wearing surface to BIN 5516879 – MP 401.72 EB. 9. Perform vertical clearance improvement along mainline at MP 397.67 EB. 10. Install permanent pavement markings, including Exit 48A Park and Ride.
