Headworks Bar Screen Replacement Project

Electrical Work relative to installation of Mechanical Bar Screen, Wash Press, Grit Blower; installation and wiring of equipment control cabinets in new Electrical Building; Electrical improvements to existing Headworks Building Estimated Cost $80,000 Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Leicester Water Supply District (LWSD) located at 124 Pine Street in Leicester, Massachusetts is securing priced proposals relative to furnishing, installing, start up and testing of Electrical Work for the Headworks Bar Screen Replacement Project; Contract 2022-1 located at 124 Pine Street, Leicester, MA 01524. 1. Furnish & install one (1) 600v, 100A, 3-pole circuit breaker in Meter Building "H1" electrical panel. 2. Furnish & install 3-#3 THWN CU + 1#8 THWN CU GND through existing and proposed conduits to new Electrical Building as shown on contract drawings. 3. Furnish new electrical conduits from Electric Manhole 1 to new Electrical Building; Furnish new electrical conduits from new Electrical Building to existing Headworks Building as shown on contract drawings; Excavation for conduits by Owner. Electrical Building including foundation by Owner. 4. Furnish & Install Minipower-Zone "M1" w/15 KVA transformer and Panel "H1" including required conduit and wire located in new Electrical Building as shown on the contract drawings and specified. 5. Furnish & Install conduit and wire for New Electrical Bldg including appurtenances as shown on contract drawings & specified. 6. Install & wire Blower Variable Frequency Drive, (VFD) as shown on the contract drawings. VFD supplied by Owner 7. Install SCADA CP furnished by others; provide conduits where shown on contract drawings. 8. Furnish & install conduit and wire for VFD from unit mounted in New Electrical Building to Blower located next to south exterior wall of Headworks Building. Mount and wire Blower LCP where shown on the drawings. Blower provided & installed by Others. LCP providedby Blower Vendor. 9. Install, provide conduit and wire for Washer & Bar Screen control cabinets as shown on the drawings and specified. Control panels provided by Others. Each LCP provided by Bar Screen and Washer Vendors. 10. Furnish & install conduit and wire for Bar Screen, Screenings Washer and Headworks Building appurtenances as shown on the contract drawings and specified 11. Furnish & install 316 SS junction boxes/wire trough(s) on sidewalls of the New Electrical Building and side wall of the Headworks Building as shown on the contract drawings. 12. Furnish & Install all conduit, wire, fixtures, receptacles, switches, thermostats, circuit breakers, motor starters, disconnects, exhaust fan electrical wiring, electric heaters & associated wiring & thermostats, wiring and appurtenances for existing Headworks Building Heater, all as shown on the contract drawings and specified. 13. Furnish conduit and wire for new Siemens "Probe" level sensor from unit at the parshall flume to SCADA panel furnished by Others; "Probe" furnished by Owner.
