Description

Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Indian Land, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,515-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for paving for a municipal facility. Plans call for the construction of a 14,515-square-foot post office. The facility will contain three full-service counters, a full post office box lobby, a workroom, break room and other support facilities. It will have a structural steel frame; columns beams and bar joists sitting on a conventional spread footing foundation. The walls will consist of insulated metal studs with a brick veneer. The loading dock platform will be constructed from concrete masonry units with a brick veneer. The facility will contain postal carriers and therefore will have two sides of the facility covered with a prefabricated metal canopy for protection from the elements. All material, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the project.
