A timeline for award has not yet been established.** **As of June 23, 2023 this project has been cancelled and currently there are no plans on rebidding at this time.** **As of May 16, 2023 no bids received for this project and currently there are no plans on rebidding at this time.** Sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the 2021 Graysville Fire Hall Phase 2 project. The Project consists of approximately 4,500 s.f. of an existing (2) bay firehall that will receive new gypsum board installed on existing wood studs, all new floor, walls and ceiling finishes, relocation of an existing attic stair, new generator and air compressor, new high volume fan, new exhaust fans, new lights, (2) new restrooms, (1) new kitchen area, mise, appliances, new cargo lift, mise, repairs, exterior cleaning and painting and exterior grading, paving and landscaping. The project is being bid as 'base bid' with no alternates. The work will be awarded in one 'Prime Contract'. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of (5%) five percent of the Bid. Funding: Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) "regular round". Neither the State of Tennessee nor any of its departments, agencies or employees are or will be a party to this Advertisement for Bids or any resulting contract. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, and as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (41 CFR, Part 60), which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 27 (a) to (a)7), and Sections 103 and 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act as amended (40 U.S.C. 327 330) as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR, Part 5). Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on a basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. The Contractor/Subcontractor will comply with 41 CFR 60 4, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetable and goals set forth in 41 CFR 604. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Advertisement for Bids. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
