2022 Evergreen Road

Price per Ton state approved 1-1/4" crushed stone road base, hauled to Evergreen Road, from Jim Moore Creek to city limits, (termination). Minimum 6 trucks hauling. Road base is to meet current DOT state specifications for road base testing. Road base to be applied at 28' in width and 8" in depth. * Please provide submittal copies of Road base testing. 2.) Price to pulverize 22' in width and minimum 8" in Depth, compact With sheep foot vibratory roller, grade base course to a 2 percent longitudinal slope., water base course and grade again, compact once more with vibratory roller, to a 28' width on, Evergreen Rd., from Jim Moore Creek to City Limits, (Termination). In the Town of Wausau. * Please provide insurance certificates. ) Total price per ton for the following, fine grade, water, roll base course to a 2 percent longitudinal slope. Base course and finish course Asphalt to meet or exceed state approved Asphalt spec. Pave with hot mix asphalt binder base course compacted to a minimum thickness of 1-1/2" x 22'. Pre-spray with tack before finish coat. Finish coat Warm mix blacktop compacted to a minimum thickness of 1-1/2" x 22', on Evergreen Rd. This project will be a TRID Project. *PE stamped 10-year guarantee certification as outlined in 2022,2023 LRIP spec. required for TRID program. *Please provide Quality Control Sheets *Please provide Insurance Certificates. 4.) Ditching of noted areas. From Viewpoint Rd to Termination of City limits. Contractor must have minimum of three trucks to haul ditched material away, to determined dump site. Ditch layout to be done by Town of Wausau. CONTRACTOR NOTE: All flagging is the responsibility of the awarded contractor. All Contractors are responsible for Diggers Hotline Marking, of their awarded items. Contractor to spread road base over asphalt approximately 4" thick over existing asphalt. Town forces will rough grade base prior to pulverizing. Contractor to pulverize base course and existing roadbed per bid item #2. Contractor to spread additional 4" of roadbase over roadbed. Town forces will rough grade base course prior to paving. Contractor to fine grade and pave per bid item #3. NOTE: Please mark the outside of your sealed bids to reflect which numbers you are bidding. Please include all warranty papers at time of bid submission. Billing of accepted bids, must be completed per bid specifications, as listed with coordinating number(s) per TRID specifications. The Town of Wausau reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Please note this is a TRID funded project, specifications, and requirements for TRID will be enforced.
