2021 Street Improvements

This project consists of two (2) separate Proposals for street reconstruction. Work for these Proposals includes concrete curb and gutter removal, sidewalk removal, unclassified excavation, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphalt pavement, crushed aggregate base course, water main, water laterals, and the associated restoration. 1. PROPOSAL A consists of the reconstruction of: • 4th Avenue (Summit St. to West St.) – approximately 850 centerline feet o Curb & Gutter repair o Sidewalk repair o Replace 850 feet of 6” DI water main 2. PROPOSAL B consists of the reconstruction of: • 7th Street (Oak St. to Ash St.) – approximately 450 centerline feet o Curb & Gutter replacement o Sidewalk repair o Replace 450 feet of 6” DI water main • Installation of New Sidewalk at the following locations: o Camp Street (between 4th & 5th Streets) – approximately 740 sq ft. o Remington Street (between 3rd & 4th Street alley) – approximately 1,800 sq ft. o 3rd Street (between Remington & Jefferson Streets) – approximately 4,520 sq ft.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Earthwork Methods.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Asphalt Paving, Rigid Paving, Concrete Paving, Curbs, Gutters, Sidewalks, and Driveways, Paving Specialties, Pavement Markings.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks, Storm Drainage Utilities, Storm Drainage Structures.
