Architectural/Engineering Services

Projects will include, but not be limited to:Design and building of a commons area which will be meet FEMA 361 Safe Room standards on the existing high school campus. Design and building of an addition to the existing school district administration building. Evaluating the existing roof on the elementary building and developing a plan for repair or replacement. Additional projects as needed. The scope of services shall include the following:Consulting Master planning Pre Design:programming and information gathering Schematic Design and production of computer generated renderings Construction documents for permit Bidding services Construction cost estimating Construction administration Interested Parties should respond to the following:Submit information outlining the Company size, location, years in business, nature of work performed, specialized experience and technical competence, including that of partners, associates and consultants, demonstratedeither with the District or elsewhere, with respect to the type of services requested. Submit planning ability, efficiency and promptness of the firms including the capacity and capability of the firms to perform the tasks requested, as well as any specialized services, within the time limitations established for the completion of the project. Submit past record of performance of the firms with respect to control of costs, quality of work, quality control, design, and ability to meet time schedules. Submit list of projects, specifically those related to Education and FEMA Safe Rooms that have been completed. Complete contact information for references on listed projects should be included. List Project Teams technical knowledge and experience with regards to the design of FEMA 361 Safe Rooms.Include specific completed projects and personal resumes of key team members. The District proposes to retain a highly qualified, capable firm to act as the Professional Consultant Architect, Engineering, and /or Land Surveyor for the planning and implementation of miscellaneous capital improvement projects.
