Description

1. SCOPE 1.1. Provide waste removal and recycling services in accordance with the specifications and frequency detailed in the Price Schedule for a period of one (1) year from bid award. 1.2. Dumping practices, garbage handling and recycling must comply with Federal, State and Local laws and regulations that apply for disposal of garbage and waste and recycling 1.3. The Successful Bidder must have a minimum of two (2) trucks less than ten (10) years old in good operating condition that can handle one, two, three, six, eight and ten yard containers. A list of equipment must but submitted with bid response. 1.4. Trash must be picked up between 1:30 – 3:30 PM. At times, there will additional materials that are not in the containers that the Successful Bidder will be responsible for removing. 1.5. During each pick-up, the Successful Bidder shall rinse containers clean with hot water while the container is in the upside down position on the truck so rinse water drops into the truck. 1.6. The School District will paint, lubricate and perform minor repairs to containers owned by the School District. Successful Bidder will be responsible to repair damage caused by rough or abusive use of the containers. The Successful Bidder will reimburse the School District for the cost to replace or repair containers damaged by the Successful Bidder.
