Description | Sealed bids will be received by the Uniontown City Hall, located at 110 S. Montgomery St., Uniontown, WA, 99179, until 2 P.M., January 31, 2023 , for the general contract for replacement of lead lines in the water system. The project consists of construction for the replacement of 602 linear feet of lead joint lines. Pipe replacement to occur on Church Street, starting at Montgomery and ending on Railroad Ave. Water main walk to include pipe, valves, hydrants, backfill, bedding, surface restoration, traffic control, service connections, meters and other appurtenances. Bidding documents for the project are prepared by Keltic Engineering, Inc. Availability of Bidding Documents: Bona fide general contractors may obtain the contract documents at the office of Keltic Engineering, Inc., located at 315 Adams Lane, Lewiston, ID 83501, 208-743-2135 on payment of $75 per set. Copies of the contract documents may be examined at the following locations: City Hall, Uniontown, WA and Lewis Clark Plan Center, Lewiston, ID. Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier's check for 5 percent of the bid amount, payable to the Town of Uniontown, or bid bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid. Rejection of Bids: The city shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. The Town of Uniontown is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Small, Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses) are encouraged to submit bids. All work performed on the project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in the State of Washington.
