Description

SCGC has partnered with Western Wood Structures to inst all a new bridge on the course. Seeking contractor to provide abutment services. Please send RSVP/ intent to participate with your firms contact information to email address above by January 12 at 9:00 AM PST to be sent RFP and additional scope details. Only those that RSVP will be added to plan holder's list and sent updates. Owner will demolish and remove existing bridge and abutments as well as provide a temporary cart/player route around the work site. - Contractor will prepare the location of the abutment replacements for construction of new (2) abutments. - Access to the work site will be provided by Owner. - Owner will provide required foundation/backfill material delivered to the work site. - Owner will identify work limit boundaries. - Owner has confirmed that the soil bearing requirements on which the abutments are to be built do conform with the abutment notes on the plan. - Owner will repair any reasonable damage to areas outside the work limits, but the contractor is responsible to stay within the work limits as a rule - Contractor will follow the plan and abutment notes as provided by the Owner and Western Wood Structures, Inc., and as shown in item 15 of this RFP. - Contractor, in addition to the plan and abutment notes, will be responsible for any saw cut and replacement of the cart path approaches. - Contractor will be responsible to replace any cart path damaged during construction of the work. - Contractor will be required to grade and clean the work site at the end of the construction.
