Reconstruction and Resurfacing of Portions of Certain County Roads

As of August 9, 2022, project was awarded to Earle Asphalt Company., Inc , awarded amount is $3891513.13. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the 2'' milling and 2'' resurfacing of 4.18 miles of roads in the Townships of Brick and Toms River, and the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach. Included in this Contract isthe replacement of Corrugated Metal Pipe using Reinforced Concrete Pipe or Ductile Iron Pipe; the reconstruction of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, and ADA curb ramps; and construction of curb pieces, bicycle safe grates, and traffic stripes and markings. Two (2) traffic signals will be updated to meet current MUTCD and ADA standards. Estimated construction cost range: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 and 10% Surety required *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
