Description | Project scope consists of but is not limited to new construction of three 2-story wood framed townhouse structures designed for 29 units of affordable family housing and the renovation of one 3-story masonry and wood framed building designed for 12 units of affordable family housing. Work will include selective demolition, abatement, remediation, concrete, masonry, miscellaneous metals, structural steel framing, cold formed metal framing, rough and finish carpentry labor and materials, wood stairs and railings, plastic paneling, insulation, asphalt shingled, concrete faced panels, siding, EPDM roofing, gutters and downspouts, fire-stopping, doors, frames & hardware, access doors and frames, aluminum screen doors, storefronts, windows, glazing fixed louvers, gypsum board, flooring, painting, signage, toilet, bath and laundry accessories, fire protection cabinets, fire extinguishers, postal specialties, bird control devices, residential appliances, roller window shades, residential casework & cabinets, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, earthwork, exterior improvements: asphalt paving, fencing, landscaping, utilities, final cleaning and sanitary facilities. Project Addresses: 213 Chestnut Street - Renovation of 12 units 344 Appleton Street - New construction of 7 units 188-190 Chestnut Street - New construction of 10 units 207 Elm Street - New construction of 12 units Project is Tax Exempt and there are No Wage Rates. As of September 15, 2023, a general contractor has been selected. Construction is anticipated to begin fourth quarter 2024. |
