On-Call Title and Escrow Services

Pierce County is soliciting Request for Proposals from firms interested in providing approximately 500 Commitments for Title Insurance (Title Reports) for the Planning and Public Works Department. Other County departments may require some Title Reports periodically, but these quantities are unknown at this time. All Title Reports must meet the standard American Land Title Association 2006 policy specifications. In addition to the above services, the awarded Consultant(s) will provide a staff Limited Practice Officer (LPO) to close escrow transactions as deemed necessary by the County. In order to provide our customers with excellent and timely customer service, it is preferable that the escrow office and LPO operations shall be located within the County of Pierce. If the office is not located within Pierce County, the services must be offered mobile and/or provided at a suitable location within Pierce County to meet the customer’s needs. The LPO shall be designated by name along with a selected alternate LPO to be available during the absence of the designated LPO. The Consultant agrees to promptly provide the names of any persons chosen to replace the designated or alternate LPO.
