Description | This office hereby issues Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Non-Kinetic (NKO) Parking Lot Construction, Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska (NE). The solicitation is restricted to Economically Disadvantage Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) participation. The magnitude of construction costs for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The parking lot project is located at Offutt Air Force Base, directly south of the airfield operations. This project is designed to construct a concrete parking lot to support roughly 350 vehicles. This project will require minor grading, removal of existing light poles and trees, concrete pavement, electrical utility work for parking lot lighting, parking lot lighting, pavement striping, and installation of a passive cable barrier vehicle intrusion management system. All work shall be in accordance with RFP documents issued within this solicitation. The contractor will be required to subcontract with the local power company for installation of parking lot lighting. The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work in the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 450 calendar days) after receipt of NTP. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
