Haas Library Fire Pump Replacement - Western CT State University

Remove existing and install new diesel fire pump, replacement of controls and equipment associated with the fire pump and water supply to the pump. Ruth Haas Library Fire Pump was originally installed in 2001. The 5-story building has an approximate gross area of 113,000 sf with about 67,200 sf of usable area. Fire pump is located in the lower level of the building with access down a wide stairwell. Responses to any and all inquiries shall be issued via addenda, no later than Friday, September 22, 2023 4:00 p.m., Any and all addenda shall be posted on the State of Connecticut's State Contracting Portal, CTsource-CT.gov. The University reserves the right to waive any technical defects in the bids, to reject any bids that do not conform to the terms described herein, and to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to reject all bids and, again, invite bids. Please provide the following as part of the Bid - 10% Bid Bond. A 10% Material and Labor Bond and 10% Performance Bond are not required as part of the bid but will be required as part of the award of Contract.
