| Description | This sale is for a fifth row operator select thinning on 87 acres of planted slash pine on Jennings State Forest (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755) in Clay County, Florida. Timber to be removed include every fifth row and select trees in the leave rows to reach a desired basal area of 75-80 square feet per acre. Trees to be removed in the leave rows include diseased, forked, or suppressed as well as a portion of the intermediate and co-dominant to reach the targeted basal area. Trees with colored band should not be harvested. The Forester-in-Charge must approve of all skid trails and logging decks.
