Description

Sealed competitive proposals will be received by the Enid Board of Education District No. 57 at its office located at 500 South Independence; Enid, Oklahoma for the following: Furnish all supplies, materials, equip- ment and labor for the demolition of exist- ing outside cages and construction of new indoor batting cage and changing room for Pacer Field (Meadowlake Park, Softball Field) 1275 W. Rupe AVE, Enid OK 73703. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays before the final time set for receipt of bids, as well as bids received after the final time set for receipt of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. and presented at a meeting of the Enid Board of Education, District No. 57, in the Board Room of the Administrative Services Center at 500 South Independence; Enid, Oklahoma, at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th day of September 2022 or prior to if under special circum- stances. The Contractor shall identify his Proposal on the outside of a sealed enve- lope by writing the name of the project and the name of the Proposer. No oral, telephone or telegraphic proposals will be considered. No site visitation will be allowed without prior approval of the Owner and at a time designated by the Owner. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid walk-through at Pacer Field on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. for the purpose of discussing the project and any ques- tions bidders may have about the project. All Contractors for the above listed work shall prepare and submit to the Architect, Pre-Qualification Statement, A.I.A. Document A-305, showing evidence that the Contractor has successfully completed work in projects of similar size and scope. Contractor's Pre-Qualification Statement and Questionnaire for Proposed Work for Enid Independent School District, shall list past projects, owners, architects and engineers with contact persons and tele- phone numbers. Business Relationships Affidavit; Non- Collusion Affidavit and Cashiers Check, a Certified Check, or a Surety Bid Bond in the amount of five per-cent (5%) of the gross amount of the base bid as a guaran- ty shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. The Enid Board of Education District No. 57 reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to submit statutory Payment, Performance and Defect Bonds, proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance, as well as a statutory affidavit certifying that no convicted felons, violent or sex offenders are employed by the firm, prior to com- mencing work on the project. For purposes of your bid, do not include any local or state sales tax. Board of Education will appoint the successful bid- der its agent for purpose of receiving tax exempt status on purchase of materials for this Contract only.
