Drilling of Water Wells North Long Beach 13 and North Long Beach 14

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work consists of the destruction of two municipal wells and drilling, construction, development, and testing of two municipal wells: Destruction of two (2) existing potable water supply wells, Wells North Long Beach 4 and 9, including dismantling, salvaging, removal of existing equipment and well facilities, fitting of aboveground piping with blind flange, conducting a downhole video survey, destruction and removal of concrete flooring, block walls, pump pedestal, destruction of the well, backfill and compaction, and/or other work as necessary to complete the project as described in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Construction , development and testing of two (2) potable water supply wells, Wells North Long Beach 13 & 14, each with a design capacity of 2,500 gallons per minute (gpm), including but not limited to site preparation, conductor casing and sanitary seal, borehole drilling, geophysical logging, borehole reaming, caliper survey, casing installation, gravel envelope placement, transition and annular seal placement, well development and testing, disinfection, and/or other work as necessary to complete the project as described in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. WORK SITE: The Work Site is located in the City of Long Beach, California. at the following address: North Long Beach 4: Located north of existing storm drain channel (formerly Jackson Creek), east of Orange Avenue, south of E. Jackson Street, and west of Walnut Avenue in Jackson Park in the City of Long Beach. North Long Beach 9: Located north of existing storm drain channel (formerly Jackson Creek), east of Orange Avenue, south of E. Jackson Street, and west of Walnut Avenue in Jackson Park in the City of Long Beach. North Long Beach 13: Located north of existing storm drain channel (formerly Jackson Creek), east of Orange Avenue, south of E. Jackson Street, and west of Walnut Avenue in Jackson Park in the City of Long Beach. North Long Beach 14: Located north of existing storm drain channel (formerly Jackson Creek), east of Walnut Avenue, south of E. Jackson Street, and west of Rose Avenue in Jackson Park in the City of Long Beach.
