Petrolia Dam Slide Gate Replacement

The Petrolia Irrigation District, on behalf of the Petroleum County Conservation District (PCCD), hereby solicits proposals from interested manufacturers for two slide gates to be used in the replacement of existing slide gates at the existing gatehouses for the Petrolia Lake Dam. The Petroleum County Conservation District intends to pre-select one manufacturer and proceed with design and bid for construction based on the manufacturers slide gate replacement proposal. The proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria discussed in this RFP. Design Begins November 2022 Field Installation Begins December 2023 Substantial Completion and Final Payment April 2024 The PCCD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this selection process and to negotiate with any qualified manufacturer(s) for all or part of the requested services. The PCCD reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal. 3. The PCCD reserves the right to delay, suspend or cancel all or part of this RFP at any time and for any reason determined by the PCCD to be in the public interest. 4. All submittals become the property of the PCCD. 5. The PCCD may reject any proposal not in compliance with the prescribed procedures and requirements. 6. The PCCD reserves the right to request additional information from the Manufacturers. Furthermore, the PCCD and/or the Engineer may request that a site visit be coordinated by the Manufacturer to one or more similar projects. 7. The PCCD reserves the right to negotiate the scope of work with the selected manufacturer after the selection process. 8. All costs associated with the preparation of these proposals and any subsequent presentations are borne by the manufacturer. The details of the agreement and payment terms will be negotiated with the selected offeror.
