Chilled Water Site Piping Addition

Provide all labor, equipment, materials, fuel and any other incidental costs too connect chilled water piping from the North Central Energy Plant (North CEP), located at 435 W. Alfred St. Tavares, FL 32778, to the South Central Energy Plant (South CEP), located at 551 W. Main St. Tavares, FL 32778. New chilled water piping shall provide both primary and redundant connection for the Lake County Government Center Campus. The scope of work shall include: 1. Install a dedicated 12" CHW line from the North CEP to the South CEP: a. The new 12" chilled water supply and return line to connect underground to the existing underground main 18" CHW line just beyond the south wall of the North CEP and be routed to the South wall of the original Criminal Justice Center. b. The new CHW lines is to then be routed first onto the roof of the original Criminal Justice Center, then onto the roof of the secured walkway, and finally onto the roof of the Lake County Jail, to terminate inside the south CEP. 2. From inside the south CEP, the new CHW piping is to connect to the existing secondary pumps that serve the Government Center Campus with 10" CHW lines and connect 8" CHW lines to the secondary pumps that serve the Lake County Jail. 3. Bypass valves to be added to the existing main piping of the South CEP to allow the plant to serve as redundancy to the North CEP.
