| Description | Construction of a roundabout, signal improvements, and auxiliary lane construction at the Savannah River International Trade Park in Port Wentworth, GA. Savannah River International Trade Park Traffic Improvements project, located in Port Wentworth, Georgia. This proposed project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the construction of an additional left-turn lane from SR 21, an additional lane on a portion of International Trade Park (ITP), a roundabout at the ITP intersection with Little Hearst Parkway (LHP), and signal improvements at the ITP intersection with SR 21. More specifically, the project consists of all work required to construct approximately 3,900 feet of roadway widening, a roundabout, and a signal upgrade. Demolition work includes clearing and grubbing, asphalt milling where required, and removal of other miscellaneous items. Site work includes grading, compacting select material for subgrade, installation of a graded aggregate base course, paving with hot mix asphaltic concrete, and installation of traffic control devices such as traffic signal components and signing and striping. Utility work includes the modification of drainage piping, water utilities, concrete drop inlets and catch basins, power/light poles, underground electrical/telecommunication conduits, and other ancillary items. | ||
