J--MEVE (CM) Replace GAC Water Plant

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform activated carbon exchange service at the Mesa Verde National Park water treatment plant. Project will include vacuum removal and off-site disposal of spent activated carbon, inspection of interior of tanks, touch up epoxy paint as necessary on interior of tank walls if any damage to the interior epoxy coatings is discovered during inspection, replacement of carbon screen support bolts with stainless steel bolts, and refill with fresh media Granular Activated Carbon, Norit GAC Plus (40S) 12 x 40 Mesh or equivalent. All work and supplies shall meet or exceed all Federal and State requirements for public drinking water facilities.

Division 05 -	Metals, Structural Metal Framing, Metal Decking.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Facility Fuel Piping, Facility Fuel-Storage Tanks.
Division 31 -	Earthwork, Clearing and Grubbing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Fences and Gates.
Division 33 -	Utilities, Storm Drainage Utilities.
