Contractor Awarded Address: Centennial, CO 80015 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $3,150.00 Walla Walla VAMC Requires Water Tower Inspection and Cleaning. IAW the SOW. See Section E.1 for quote preparation. Please provide SAM UEI number when submitting a quote Provide responses to adam.hill3@va.gov. Background The Walla Walla Veterans Administration Medical Center (WWVAMC) installed a 150,000- gallon, Elevated Storage Tank October of 2015. The system components associated with this work are: two wells, pumphouses that have a hypochlorite system and the water tower. The two wells on the facility chemically treat the water before being pumped to the tank. This system is the primary source for potable water consumption, water pressure and fire protection throughout its 88-acre property. The WWVAMC facility is also tied into the city of Walla Walla water as a backup The Elevated Storage Tank must be inspected and cleaned on a regular basis to meet all Environmental Protection Agency(EPA), Washington State Department of the Health(WSDH), Occupational Safety Health Administration(OSHA) and National Fire Protection Agency(NFPA) requirements. Place of Performance All work under this contract is to be performed at the following locations: A. Walla Walla VA Medical Center, 77 Wainwright Dr, Walla Walla, WA 99362 B. The contractor's water analysis lab (if required) or the lab the contractor specifies Period of Performance Upon award of contract, contractor must be capable to perform a full inspection, cleaning and water analysis within 15 days. Any work that will cause the water tank to be unusable fully or partially for the WWVAMC must be scheduled and approved by the facility. Efforts will be taken by the WWVAMC to perform work outside the normal business hours if the water tower is to be taken out of service for any period of time. Per AWWA C652-11, the water tanks shall be inspected at a frequency of no greater than once every 5 years. The WWVAMC shall have their tank inspected and cleaned once every 3 years.
