Engineering and Related Services for a County Wide Watershed Management Plan

The primary purpose is to provide engineering services to perform a county-wide watershed management plan (WMP). It is anticipated that the WMP will include describing existing watersheds and drainage basins within the country; providing an inventory of drainage systems including open drainage ways as well as subsurface stormwater drainage systems and structures; addressing areas of flooding or drainage concerns; and recommendations for improvements and overall management strategies to help prevent future degradation. Some other strategies could include conservation through acquisition, outfall management and permitting, GIS database development, Water quality improvements, and improvements to the county's FEMA community Rating.
