| Description | Contractor shall clean and prepare floors to satisfactorily receive new flooring, including filler as required to level floor where needed. The installation shall be an indication of contractor's acceptance of the sub-floor and he will automatically assume the responsibility for any unacceptable finished work caused by sub-floor conditions. All glue and mastic under carpet, tile or linoleum must be removed prior to installation of new flooring. All asbestos VCT removal must include VCT, mastic, cove base, linoleum and carpet if VCT is under carpet. All Flooring removal and installation of new flooring must be done during regular business hours. Contractor shall clean and prepare floors to satisfactorily receive tile and carpet installation, including filler as required to level floor where needed. The installation shall be an indication of contractor,s acceptance of the sub-floor and he will automatically assume the responsibility for any unacceptable finished work caused by sub-floor conditions. |
