Description | Contract period beginning October 7, 2020 and ending January 1, 2021, or until all leaves collected and temporarily stored at the Hanover Township Recycling Center (located at the Public Works Complex on Stoney Brook Road, Whippany, New Jersey), during the 2020 Leaf Collection Season, have been removed and recycled by the Contractor/Vendor. It is estimated that there will be a total of approximately 14,000 cubic yards of leaves collected during the 2020 Leaf Collection Season. Scope of Services: The successful contractor shall remove and recycle leaves at a composting facility approved by and registered with the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection or the environmental protection agency of the State where the facility is located. During the temporary storage period for the leaves, the Department of Public Works (DPW) will create windrow piles not higher than 6 feet or wider than 10 feet, or they will place the leaves in storage containers. All leaves brought to the Hanover Township Recycling Center must be removed within three (3) calendar days of arrival. |
