I-90/West Side Canal Bridge EB - Deck Rehabilitation

STIP ID 509016V19 Scarify and overlay bridge deck on Bridge 90/152S. The bridge deck on the eastbound West Side Canal Bridge on I-90 is showing signs of deterioration due to normal wear. This project will repair and resurface the existing bridge deck to maintain structural integrity, continue safe operation of the highway, and extend the life of the bridge. As of September 07, 2022, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2021 and environmental design is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2022 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2023.
