MIL DEPT - EAFR Range 5-3 Light Demo Range

This project will consist of, but not be limited to labor and material related to the construction of a new demolition training range which includes six individual training areas. Five of the training sites consist of gravel training site surrounded by earth protection berms. The steel cutting training site entails construction of a heavily reinforced cast-inplace concrete bunker as indicated on the drawings dated May 2021 by Civil Engineering Associates. • The project includes construction of over 2500 lf. of new gravel roads to access the training sites. • The project also includes two observation bunkers for the training site. • The project includes construction of a small 10’ x 12’ CMU Ammo Breakdown building. • The project will be constructed within an area of approximately 5 acre of land • Access to the site will be via existing gravel roads from the back gate located in Underhill Center or over the "Castle Trail" from the existing facilities located on Lee River Road, only when permission is received from Range Control. • Site utilities are limited for this project: Power will not be provided to the new building for this project.
