Rebid Aeration Basin Conduit and Enclosure Installation & Final Clarifier Collector Drive Conductor Replacment

1. Install (6) 330-foot runs of 2" aluminum conduit along with (4) 24X30X10 stainless steel enclosures at predetermined intervals throughout the run. The conduit run will start at the existing free standing stainless junction box JB-4P and end at the last 24X30X8 enclosure. This run is to be installed on the west end of aeration basins 9&10 and will primarily run on the end wall of the basin structure. 2. Replace failed power and control conductors previously identified from electrical vault EPB13A to final clarifiers 6,7,8, & 9 long and short collector drive local control panels. The conduit run will start with (6) 2" aluminum conduits leaving stainless junction box JB-4P and will drop off (2) conduits each at three of the 24X30X10 stainless steel enclosures. The City of Fresno will provide the following materials: 2000 - Feet of 2" aluminum Conduit. 200 - Feet of 1-1/2 X 1-1/2 Stainless Unistrut. 4 - 24X30X10 stainless steel enclosures. 28 - 2" Meyers hubs. 4 - 2" Malleable LR condulets with covers and gaskets. 250 - 2" Rigid stainless steel strut straps. 72 - 1/2 " spring nuts. 50 - 45-degree Unistrut brackets. 50 - 1/2 X 3-3/4 Stainless steel anchors. The contractor will be responsible for suppling any additional materials needed to complete the installation of this project. Explanation of Bid #2 Items: B-Side Final Clarifiers 6,7,8 & 9 Collector Drive Conductor Replacement Scope of work: Replace failed power and control conductors previously identified from electrical vault EPB13A to final clarifiers 6,7,8, & 9 long and short collector drive local control panels. o All failed conductors are to be removed from conduits, conduits are to be cleaned out, new conductors pulled in and terminated. o All new conductor splices in vault EPB13A shall be a watertight type of splice. o All new conductors must be identified on both ends with a durable form of wire marker. o The conductors to be replaced are circuit numbers, A2-408, A2-409, A2-410, A2-411, B2-408, B2-409, B2-410 & B2-411.
