Description | The scope of this project is to eliminate the existing Lester Jones Ave Lift Station by constructing a new gravity line. The new gravity line will route the sanitary sewer from the upstream side of the Lester Jones lift Station to an existing gravity sanitary line located east of the taxiway. The scope includes over 1100 linear feet of new 10 sanitary sewer and 262 linear feet of bore under the existing concrete apron. The project will require working on airport property and the Contractor will need to follow FAA safety and security procedures. All labor utilized in the construction of this project shall be paid a wage of no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in this locality, as established and amended at any time by the Department of Labor of the State of Missouri, in accordance with prevailing wage as set forth in Annual Missouri State Wage Determination No. 30, Section 039, Greene County, and all addenda, and fully complied with the provisions and requirements of the Missouri State Prevailing Wage Law (Section 290.250, RSMo.), or by the U.S. Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Federal Davis-Bacon Act (Title 40 U.S.C. Chapter 31, subchapter IV), whichever is higher. The successful bidder shall secure licenses imposed by law and ordinance and pay all charges. The bond so furnished shall be in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid price. |
