Provide required pre-demolition asbestos inspection, sampling, and laboratory PLM analysis in accordance with NESHAP 40 CFR61 subpart M, emission standard for demolition and renovation projects to determine the presence of asbestos containing building materials located on and/or within the structures to be demolished. 2.2 File notification of demolition and renovation with regulating agencies. 2.3 Acquire city of Cook County demolition permits. 2.4 Notify J.U.L.I.E. for underground utility locations. 2.5 Install temporary security fence with wind screen in accordance with village ordinance. 2.6 Remove and legally dispose of the asbestos containing building materials. 2.7 Perform rodent/pest inspection in accordance with village ordinance. 2.8 Coordinate utility retirements, i.e., electricity, natural gas, telephone. 2.9 Demolish and remove the 1 story commercial slab on grade former retain grocery store with non-conforming additions (8859 S. California Ave). 2.10 Remove all concrete slabs, foundations and footings, walkways and approaches adjacent to the structures. 2.11 Leave asphalt parking and drive areas in place for future use. 2.12 Transport all debris generated by demolition to legal disposal facilities. 2.13 Transport all recyclable materials to processing facilities. 2.14 Backfill foundation trenches with fill provided by EPPW. 2.15 Rough grade to meet surrounding asphalt pavement and public ways. 2.16 All salvage shall become the property of contractor
